BOHLOKOA BA THUTO BACKGROUND
In August 2019, Z & W Konstruksie leased a building to Bohlokoa Ba Thuto Private FET College to be used solely for education and training purposes. Bohlokoa Ba Thuto Private FET College is a people’s college that serves the community, it is growing. Since 2015 the College has opened many doors for people of South Africa.
From its humble beginnings at Vereeniging, the College has grown from strength to strength into a true community asset and has refined itself to become one of the institutes of excellence in education and training. Today, it registers students in excess of 500 per year in all areas and offers courses in Engineering, Business Studies and General Studies. The College has staff members forming management, lecturing staff and administrative staff. We have also most recently introduced National Senior Certificate course to help students that have a commercial background to obtain a senior certificate. We are still in the process of implementing newly introduced NC (v) and NCS programs.
The development project of Bohlokoa Ba Thuto Private FET College will enable members of the historically disadvantaged community to develop invaluable skills in the construction industry, motor industry, information technology, entrepreneurship and enhance their skills in general trade and commerce.
